Author Phil Romeo was born and raised in Ohio, graduating from Black River High School, and working at Rick Roush Honda for the past 32 years.

Romeo's love for Christmas started when he was young, listening to his favorite Christmas tune, "Winter Wonderland."

 

His mother's peanut brittle is one of his favorite memories of the holiday.

Even in adulthood, he still has his favorite Christmas toy, "Zippy," who is a stuffed monkey he received as a child.

Romeo's love for Christmas continued when he married his wife and biggest supporter, Teresa Morrow Romeo, 33 years ago.  Christmas has always been a big holiday for the two of them.  They have a different Christmas tree in every room of their house that is decorated in different themes.

Their favorite Christmas movies to watch together is Christmas Vacation and Trapped in Paradise while their favorite Christmas special is The Year Without Santa Claus.
